Rapid catheter prototyping, from drawing to functional part

Functional prototypes of reinforced tubing and catheter components, built to your drawings — with engineering and design support through iterations and a direct path into production.

Typical prototype lead time: approximately 2 weeks, depending on complexity and material availability. Lead time is confirmed per project once the construction and materials are defined.

How it works

Prototype, iterate, produce

One team from the first enquiry through to production — so what you validate in the prototype is what gets manufactured.

  1. Enquiry

You send your drawings and requirements. We come back with what we can build and what we would change.

  2. Engineering support

Engineering and design support on construction, materials and braid or coil parameters.

  3. Prototype

Functional prototypes built to your drawings, ready for testing.

  4. Iterations

Design changes fed straight back into the next build, without changing supplier or restarting.

  5. Production

Transfer into established production processes with the same team that built the prototype.

What you get

Built to your drawings, ready to test

Prototyping here means a functional part you can put on a bench — not a visual model.

Functional prototypes

Reinforced tubing and catheter components built to your drawings and specifications, for testing and design validation.

Design iterations

Changes between builds handled as part of the process, so a design can keep moving forward between revisions.

Engineering & design support

Input on construction, materials and reinforcement parameters from engineers who will also manufacture the part.

A path to production

Established production processes ready to take the design on once the prototype is validated.

Why engineers work with us

A direct line to the people who build the part

Small enough that you talk to engineering directly, set up to move from a first prototype into repeatable manufacturing.

  • Direct contact with engineering — no layers between you and the build
  • Braid and coil parameters controlled to your project requirements
  • Experience working with international customers
  • The same team and processes from prototype through production
  • Assembly and integration of components into complete sub-assemblies

ISO 13485:2016 certified. Certification scope: manufacturing of reinforced tubing for medical device applications.
